8 Source of Antioxidants that keeps the body healthy
Healthy life by taking antioxidants?
Maybe you do not know what it is an antioxidant. Antioxidants is a term for substances that serve to protect the body from free radical attack. Belonging to the class of these substances, including vitamin, polyphenol, carotene and minerals. Naturally, this substance is very large role in humans to prevent the occurrence of disease. Antioxidants do all that by suppressing the cellular damage caused by free radical oxidation process.
Free radicals are actually derived from molecular oxygen which is chemically changed its structure as a result of environmental activities. Environmental activities that may create
free radicals such as radiation, pollution, smoking and so forth. Free radicals circulating in the body attempts to steal electrons present in other molecules such as DNA and cells. This theft if successful will damage cells and DNA. Conceivably, if free radicals are circulating it will be many damaged cells.
When scientists first discovered the power of antioxidants can destroy free radicals cells, many people who hunt foods that contain antioxidants. Because antioxidants can prevent cancer, heart disease and other chronic diseases.
8 sources of antioxidants that you need to know is:
1. Whole Grain Pasta
Research at the University of Scranton by Vinston found that, whole wheat pasta has three times more antioxidants than the pasta with additional materials or enriched pasta and delicate kind.
2. Popcorn
Popcorn has polyphenols that 4 times more potent against cancer. Polyphenols are found in plants, especially in the fruit.
3. Eggs
Eggs are not generally regarded as a rich source of antioxidants lutein. This is because the egg has only a low concentration of the antioxidant lutein. But lutein in egg yolk can be absorbed more effectively than from spinach. Antioxidants Lutein may protect eyes from macular degeneration and cataracts.
4. Canned Beans
A 2004 study conducted by the USDA found that certain types of dry beans contain high levels of antioxidants.
5. Yogurt
Only about 1 cup low-fat yogurt can provide at least 25 percent of daily intake for riboflavin equivalent to 1 cup of boiled spinach. Although not an antioxidant, riboflavin (vitamin B) is very important in helping the antioxidant activity.
6. Canola Oil
Canola oil is very healthy for the heart and rich in antioxidants alphatocopherol, according to March Traber, PhD, of the Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University. Canola oil is cheaper and has a milder flavor than olive oil.
7. Organic Milk
"By switching from regular milk to organic milk, it will get more powerful levels of antioxidants, including vitamin E and carotenoids, beta carotene, and lutein," said Gillian Butler, PhD, a researcher from the UK.
8. Natural Sweetener
American Society on average consume 130 g of refined sugar every day. If reducing your intake of sugar and use a natural sweetener such as molasses, honey, brown sugar, and maple syrup can be added antioxidants. It is in accordance with the opinion of the researchers at Virginia Tech University who examined the antioxidant content of some natural sweetener.

In fact, if you consume too much sedative, it can be bad for your body. Therefore, depression is better addressed in ways that more healthy without drugs, among others:
1. Sport
Exercise can relieve depression, appears to work by affecting the expenditure of brain chemicals that regulate mood, namely norepinephrine and serotonin. Exercise also releases endorphins which can lead to feelings such as 'floating' on a few athletes runners.
2. Light Therapy
On cloudy days in winter, some people prone to mild depression called seasonal affective disorder or seasonal affective disorder (SAD).
One way to relieve symptoms is with light therapy, which sits next to a box with a bright light like the light outside.
This therapy is usually performed for about 15 minutes and increase to two hours every day. The timing depends on the severity of symptoms and the intensity of light is determined by your doctor. This therapy does not cure depression, but can relieve the symptoms after a few days.
3. Got Diary Book
Research has shown that therapies that teach you how positive thinking can relieve depression. Dr. Doraiswamy recommends that mood diary.
"This is a tool used to train someone to track the positive things happening in her life and not let negative events caused it to fall," says Dr. Doraiswamy.
The diary will keep the mood remained negative events in the perspective of a reasonable and also serves as a reminder that the days of good can happen.
4. Meditation
Research shows that meditation plays a role in preventing recurrence of depression. This study focused on awareness-based cognitive therapy that combines traditional meditation with cognitive behavioral approach.
In two different studies, depressed patients treated with antidepressants until symptoms subside. Then one group was asked to continue taking the drug while another group continued treatment with meditation therapy.
So you can choose which one is better. Without depression and healthy life without drugs, a positive impact on your body. ;)

Here are various conditions that can trigger pain in your testicle:
1. Twisted Testis
In medical terms, the penis is called the twisted testicular torsion. Testicular torsion is when the spermatic cord to a testicle twists, cutting off the blood supply. Usually, part of which is often twisted and trigger pain remarkable is that a network such as rope hanger for testicle in the scrotum sack.
Ropes can be twisted testicles due to various reasons. ranging from physical activity done with less straining, the trauma of accidentally twisted or other causes are not known. This condition can usually recover in a few hours, but sometimes need surgery to fix it.
2. Physical Trauma
Impact, kick or stab the testicle is the most common form of physical trauma that causes severe pain in the testicle. In young children, physical trauma most often occurs when learning is sandwiched zipper wear pants without the help of parents.
3. Inflammation of the Sperm Bag
Inflammation of the sperm pockets in medical terms is called epididymitis is usually triggered by infections that are transmitted either sexually or non-sexual. Symptoms include swelling of the testicle, fever, and if left to fester over time.

Sitting too much is not healthy for the body
How long have you sat in one day? ;)
In general, people sit too much in daily life. You should not be too long sitting, because it can be life threatening. Sitting all day, especially when you're working does reduce the time the body to be able to do some physical exercise which will have positive benefits for health.
A new study shows that, sitting all day can actively damage health. Caused when you sit down too much, it will slow down your metabolism, increasing the risk of heart disease, causes back pain, and may even shorten life. Too much sitting can cause several adverse health conditions, among others :
1. cause obesity
When a person sits, the metabolism will slow down. This was caused by an enzyme called lipoprotein lipase, which is in the blood vessels of the muscles.
Lipoprotein lipase capture and burn fat in the blood. Sitting all day can decrease the activity of lipoprotein lipase as much as 90-95 percent.
When a person stands, the postural muscles that support weight loss, especially in the leg muscles will release enzymes which work to burn fat. But when you're sitting still, and do not move every 30-90 seconds, then the fat will remain in the artery. Then the fat can be stored in adipose tissue or fat tissue of the body.
2. Adversely affects the spine
Abdomen, pelvis and leg muscles are often used to carry the weight of the body. But when sitting, causing most of the weight placed directly on the spine and pelvis instead.
It also led to compel a natural S curve of the spine to form C, which is not strong enough to accept the pressure.
3. Can shorten the life
A study has been published in the American Journal of Epidemiology in 2010, involving almost 70,000 healthy women and observing their daily habits for 14 years. After adjusting for risk factors including body mass index and smoking factors.
The researchers found that women who spend 6 hours a day to sit in a mortality risk 37 percent higher compared with women who spent less than 3 hours a day to sit down.
The death rate from cardiovascular disease is also 2.7 times higher in women who sit six hours or more a day, regardless of how much they exercise.
so start now, you have a lot to stand up and do not be too much sitting ;)

Prevents sleepiness by drinking a Cherry Juice
Do you like to drink juice?
There is now a recent study, that drinking cherry juice can prevent drowsiness. Sour or sweet cherry fruit is very healthy. Cherry fruits contain lots of vitamin c. In addition, the cherry fruit contains anthocyanins, the red pigment that is good for health because an antioxidant.
Research at Northumbria University showed, that the cherry juice was efficacious increase the production of the hormone melatonin. What is the hormone melatonin?
Melatonin is a hormone naturally produced by the body to restore your biological sleep clock. This hormone serves to regulate circadian rhythms, which are associated with patterns of sleep and the body's ability to distinguish day and night.
Gly Dr Howatson, who led the study involved 30 volunteers who were divided into 3 groups. One of them got cherry juice 30 mL 2 times a day, while others get tart cherry flavors and a placebo for comparison.
Then after a week of research, Dr Howatson perform checks on the participants' urine. Apparently, participants who consumed cherry juice for a week had higher levels of melatonin is 15-16 percent higher than the group that just getting a placebo.
Dr Howatson also studied the sleep patterns of participants with a tool called actigraphy. The function of this tool is to monitor and record sleep patterns when awake or during sleep was restless because they do not sleep.
The results showed that participants who drank cherry juice spent on average 15 minutes longer in bed and in general a longer sleep time 25 minutes. In addition, the general quality of sleep increased by approximately 5-6 percent.
Observations in the field, participants who consumed cherry juice are also less likely to feel sleepy in the afternoon so that the work becomes more productive. Dr Howatson believes, cherry juice can be a solution for people who suffer from insomnia or jet lag
